Gamma Symposium Features Expert Insights, Valuable Resources

The Gamma Knife Symposium 2014, presented by The Valley Hospital’s Gamma Knife Center, offered attendees a fascinating look into the world of gamma knife radiosurgery, with education, best practices and resources to help healthcare providers maximize their use of this state-of-the-art treatment tool.

Drawing nearly 100 physicians and nurses, the event explored the history of gamma knife radiosurgery; the use of the technology for benign, malignant and metastatic diseases; and the role of the nurse navigator in gamma knife centers.
