The Leapfrog Group, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has given Valley an “A” rating—the highest available—for demonstrating the ability to protect patients from hospital errors, accidents, injuries and infections. With this rating, Valley joins an elite group of 804 hospitals (out of 2,523 surveyed) that have earned an “A” safety score. This is the fifth consecutive time that Valley has received the “A” rating.
