International Magazine Showcases Valley’s Success in Treating Trigeminal Neuralgia

Wavelength September 2013 The Gamma Knife Center at The Valley Hospital was again chosen to be highlighted in an issue of Wavelength, an international magazine published by Elekta, the manufacturer of Gamma Knife.

The current issue, which is distributed to more than 20,000 health care professionals globally, features the story of 67-year-old trigeminal neuralgia patient Andrew Gallegan. After years of medication failed to provide permanent relief for his facial pain, Gallegan searched for other treatment options—finding The Gamma Knife Center just 20 minutes away.

“After the radiosurgery, that was it—no more pain,” he says. “I am so glad I went the Gamma Knife route.”
