Dr. Chang is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Director of Radiation Oncology Service at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles. He is considered a world authority in the use of radiation therapy in the treatment of benign conditions and malignant tumors of the central nervous system. Results of a phase III randomized controlled trial on brain metastasis he led are starting to change the practice patterns for metastatic brain disease. The study was published in The Lancet Oncology in 2009.
