Valley Gamma Knife Doctors Among Bergen’s Top Doctors

Valley Health System doctors were well represented on Bergen County’s 2015 Top Doctors list published in a special edition of (201) Health magazine. In total, 94 Valley-affiliated doctors were selected, including three highly qualified physicians who treat a range of cancerous and non-cancerous conditions of the brain, head and neck at The Valley Hospital’s Gamma Knife Center.

Co-Directors of the Gamma Knife Center, Anthony D’Ambrosio, M.D., board-certified neurosurgeon, and Chad DeYoung, M.D., board-certified radiation oncologist, were named to the list, as well as Michael F. Wesson, M.D., board-certified radiation oncologist.

The selection process was independently conducted by MSP Communications, a leading researcher and the publisher of Super Doctors®. MSP Communications asked doctors in Bergen County to nominate one or more colleagues they would choose in seeking medical care. Candidates were vetted by a panel of physicians and evaluated on 10 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The list includes about 5 percent of the physicians practicing in the region.

The physicians recognized on Bergen County’s Top Doctors list stand out for providing exceptional care and earning the high regard of their peers. This vote of confidence from peers indicates quality care – these doctors are trusted and sought after by colleagues and patients who want the best care.
