Thomas Kole, M.D., Ph.D., Joins Gamma Knife Team

The Valley Hospital Gamma Knife Center is pleased to welcome Radiation Oncologist Thomas Kole, M.D., Ph.D., to the gamma knife staff. Dr. Kole comes to Valley from Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y., where he served as an attending radiation oncologist.

At the Gamma Knife Center, Dr. Kole is looking forward to using gamma knife radiosurgery to treat patients who have face pain, brain metastases, gliomas and other conditions of the brain, head and neck.

A graduate of Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Kole completed his internship at Atlantic Health System and a radiation medicine residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine, during which he also served as Chief Resident.

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Kole holds a doctorate in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the university’s Department of Oncology.

Dr. Kole joins the experienced neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists and nurse navigators that make up the team at the Gamma Knife Center. Learn more about our providers.
